Everyone is blogging...why shouldn't I???... when i can spare so much time to go through meaningless crap all across am sure that thr is some market for it... and i can give a lot of crap...so its simply matching the supply to the demand... :) the basic B School gyaan... what if my crapiness is blamed on the fact that I am about to get married...to a great guy... but well thats not the point...... im bound to go bezerk and do funny things!!!
Like the other day I sent a mail......... to myself...... i took great pleasure in going through each and every line... while half way through it I realised that I had given some very good advice to myself... i was very impressed...
am in Dubai... have abt 16 days and 2 weekends to go....before i wind up and go and get married like a good Indian girl... and thr is so much that I still haven't done in Dubai...a friend of mine suggested me to make a wish list of 5 things i want to do before I leave Dubai...I know of a 100 things...but when it came to shortlisting I really cudnt shortlist any of those...(its almost like trying to make a Saree out of a pair of khaki shorts)....id like to put some nice impossible ones on my list :D they make me look so fancy (things like swimming with the dolphins and a night at the burj al arab ;) ) but id rather stick to something which at least has a probability of 5% success... so my list is still blank though the margins that i drew around it in the new office 2007 version look really cool.... its almost as if i don't want to spoil the beauty of it by adding any text to it (something like "on the rocks"... u spoil it if u add anything to it... office 2007...alchol...forget it....) i told u im getting married!!!
ok back to the list... one of the things i wud want to do is meet 3 ppl before i leave Dubai ...namely RAMBO, SRIDEVI and OSAMA...blv it or not they are some colleagues of mine in some other office to whom everyone keeps calling over the phone.... I have heard there name more than I have heard my name in say a lifetime...so that's one thing... not fancy enough to be on the list but very interesting... :)
Every evening (which basically means whenever I get time - thrice for the record) I walk to the creek...its a nice lil 15 min walk with the Dubai museum rite across....everyday I see a man standing on the edge of the water looking at one of the yacht ... he looks at the yacht the way a bengali looks at rasugulla or a punjabi at an aloo da paratha (with butter)... i want to ask him if he wants to eat that yacht .... of course thr is loads of water to wash it down....actually its a bful yacht and I want to take a ride in it before I leave... that's 2 out of 5... :)
